Prep Art
Specialist Art teaching throughout Prep (with additional creative opportunities in Reception and Year 1) takes place in the dedicated top-floor Prep Art Room of the Mansion House – perfect for big ideas and bold creativity. Pupils explore collage, pottery, charcoal, painting, and more.

Senior Art
Art is a popular choice at GCSE and A Level, complemented by varied AOBs across multiple disciplines. Flexible Art Rooms can transform into flowing exhibition spaces,
with dedicated areas for Textiles and Photography.
Design Technology
Design and Technology is a popular subject choice at Cokethorpe throughout the School. From the first introductions to the workshop in the Prep School, to the final product designs for A Level coursework, there is always a buzz in DT.
Complete with laser cutters, a 3D printer, and ample equipment for woodworking, metalworking and plastics, alongside the dedicated computer design suite equipped with CAD design software, a dedicated technician and teachers who are equally devoted to their craft, DT has much to offer in more ways than one.
Several popular AOBs also centre on the DT Workshop, including the Build-a-bike AOB with pupils working over several terms to restore to full working order a classic motorcycle.
