Second and Third Form pupils were transported into the world of French theatre as they enjoyed a lively and laugh-out-loud performance by the Onatti Theatre Company. The play, Prendre Sa Revanche, was a comedic caper that followed two cunning antique dealers with a knack for deception – until, of course, their tricks come back to bite them! Revenge comes when they try to con someone whose quick thinking turns the tables on these two unscrupulous dealers.
Performed entirely in French, the play offered a fantastic opportunity for our young linguists to put their listening skills to the test and they rose to the challenge brilliantly. Despite the rapid pace and authentically complex dialogue, pupils were praised by the actors for being fully engaged, picking up on key phrases, and joining in when prompted.
