A group of courageous Lower Sixth pupils (alongside a brave member of staff!) have voluntarily embarked on a two-week Digital Detox, handing over their smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and consoles in exchange for a simple brick phone (calls and texts only!)
This self-initiated challenge is a powerful reflection of their growing awareness around digital wellbeing and the impact of screen time on mental health, focus, and real-life connection.
📚 Devices will be used for academic work only.
📺 TV is allowed at home.
🚫 No social media or online distractions.
📞 Communication? Flip phones only.
The detox will conclude on Tuesday, 3 June at 5pm, with the pupils sharing their reflections and insights during our Parent Workshop on Thursday, 5 June (don’t forget to sign up for this!).
We are proud of their ambition, maturity, and willingness to explore life unplugged—and we can’t wait to hear what they’ve discovered.
