Our Year 6 pupils enthusiastically threw themselves into the first day of their residential, diving headfirst into a week packed with adventure and unforgettable memories.
From the hands-on excitement of Buggy Building to the blindfolded trust and laughter of the Nightline, our young adventurers rose to every challenge. Laughter, learning and leadership were the order of the day – and that was only day one! On day two, pupils tackled the dramatic coastline during a Coasteering session, clambering over rocks and splashing through sea spray. Hidden talents emerged as they tried their hands (and feet) at surfing – all met with big smiles and even bigger determination.
Day three took Year 6 from towering heights to tranquil waters. In the morning, pupils faced the climbing wall and high ropes, pushing themselves out of their comfort zones. The afternoon was all about balance and fun, with paddleboarding and kayaking offering a well-deserved splash of relaxation. Day four delivered even more adrenaline! Mountain Boarding saw our thrill-seekers test their skills on wheels, while Archery brought bullseyes galore! The Ultimate Activity Assault Course – a test of stamina and Cokethorpe spirit, which they smashed with style.
Throughout the week, our Year 6 pupils have shown exceptional courage, resilience, and camaraderie. What an incredible adventure!
