For the second consecutive year, Cokethorpe School proudly hosted the Oxfordshire Schools Cross Country competition.
Almost 400 pupils from close to 30 schools tackled a demanding course around the grounds in blustery and unpredictable conditions. Despite the weather, the racing was fiercely competitive.

Cokethorpe athletes delivered impressive performances across all age groups, with several competing a year young in their categories.
Notable results included strong finishes in the Minor, Junior and Inter races, reflecting the depth of talent and determination within the team. Had it been scored as a team event, our First Form boys would have placed second in the county and our Second and Third Form girls third — a remarkable collective achievement.
An exciting afternoon of sport showcasing resilience, endurance and school spirit.
