Our marvellous new First Form pupils arrived at the annual First Form Camp with both apprehension and excitement. They soon relaxed as they regrouped with the peers they had met on Moving Up Day and there was a buzz of chatter in the Corinthian Room before the fun began.
Pupils enjoyed a diverse range of activities including Raft Building, Climbing, Bush Craft, Laser Tag, Team Building and Kayaking. Staff were impressed by their resilience and willingness to push themselves out of their comfort zone. After an action-packed day, pupils then retired to their beds for the night, in the bell tents pitched in the School grounds.
It was a pleasure to see friendships flourish and their confidence grow over the two days which will certainly have helped to settle any nerves on their first day of Senior School.
