The match proved to be a dramatic and hard-fought contest from the first whistle, with both sides showing determination and flair. After a tense back-and-forth encounter, the game ended 3–3 at full time, sending the match into extra time and ultimately, a penalty shootout.
With the pressure mounting, our players displayed remarkable composure, focus, and team spirit. Holding their nerve in the shootout, they emerged victorious, securing not just the win but also a well-deserved place in the National Final.
This result is a testament to the team’s hard work, resilience, and unity throughout the season. Their journey continues next week, as they travel to Market Harborough on Wednesday to compete for the national title.
