Pupils from Third to Fifth Form gathered for an exciting and informative Careers Fair held here at Cokethorpe. The event brought together an impressive seventeen companies, showcasing a variety of industries and offering valuable insights into their fields. From Law to Marketing, Veterinary care to the Military, and even the creative realms of Authoring and Journalism, there was something for everyone.
Pupils also had the chance to learn about cutting-edge careers in Sustainable Development, Interior Design, Environmental Geophysics, and more. A standout moment was the hands-on demonstration by Sussex Biologicals, where pupils could get involved in mock blood transfusion exercises and cross-matching blood – definitely a highlight for those interested in the medical sciences!
The evening was filled with thought-provoking talks, including contributions from local industry professionals and a panel of Old Cokethorpeans. These former students shared their personal career journeys and gave invaluable advice on life after Cokethorpe.
