It was a real pleasure to welcome Freddie Beaumont (2022, Harcourt) back to Cokethorpe this week. Freddie popped in to collect his A-Level work and catch up with his teachers, but he also took time to meet with one of our Upper Sixth students keen on studying architecture. He generously shared his experiences, offering invaluable advice on university choices and ways to get ahead in the field.

Freddie reflected on his journey since leaving Cokethorpe:
‘I studied Architecture at Cardiff University and have just finished my BSc. I’m currently looking for work as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant before beginning my Master’s.’
He also highlighted a piece of advice that has stayed with him throughout university – a reminder that was ironically still on display in the classroom!
We wish Freddie every success as he takes the next exciting step in his architectural career, and thank him for inspiring the next generation of Cokethorpe students.
