Dr Sarah Squire DPhil, MA, PGCE, NPQH

Sarah gained a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge before completing a DPhil in Experimental Psychology (young children’s mathematics development) at the University of Oxford. She completed post-doctoral research in psychology and psychiatry and taught developmental psychology to undergraduates at the University of Oxford, before completing a PGCE in secondary science and making the decision to teach full time. Sarah has taught in schools in Oxfordshire for twenty years and held roles as a teacher of Science, Biology and Psychology, Head of Department, Head of Years 10 and 11, Deputy Head (Oxford High School GDST) and Vice Principal and DSL (d’Overbroeck’s) before joining Cokethorpe as Head in September 2025.
