Prep Residential Visits

May 18, 2026

Pupils across the Prep School have enjoyed unforgettable residential visits packed with adventure, challenge and teamwork, providing wonderful opportunities to build confidence, independence and friendships.

Years 3 and 4 travelled to Woodrow High House in Buckinghamshire, a beautiful historic setting where they took part in a wide range of exciting activities, including high ropes, crate stacking, nightline and wacky races. Meanwhile, Year 6 headed to North Devon for an action-packed week of surfing, coasteering, climbing, paddle boarding, raft building and the assault course.

Throughout both trips, pupils approached every activity with enthusiasm, resilience and determination, embracing new experiences and supporting one another along the way. Whether scaling new heights, catching their first wave or tackling teamwork challenges together, they showed great courage and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones.

Alongside the adventurous activities, both residentials provided plenty of opportunities for pupils to strengthen friendships, celebrate each other’s successes and create lasting memories. It was wonderful to see them grow in confidence and independence over the course of the trips, making both visits hugely rewarding experiences for everyone involved.
