On Wednesday, 28 January, Reception pupils enjoyed a delightful visit to Witney Library.
The children listened intently as librarians explained how the library works before exploring the shelves and discovering cosy corners perfect for reading. Teachers joined the adventure, helping pupils choose books to bring back to School.

Barney (Reception, Symonds) shared, ‘I really liked choosing a book about festivals.’

The visit ended with creative play using Lego, allowing imaginations to run free. Arabella (Reception, Symonds) added, ‘I liked the Lego. It had the people from Frozen.’
A wonderful introduction to the joy of libraries and reading, with many pupils already eager to return with their families.
