The Sailing team raced against Warwick School in difficult conditions with winds of over 20 knots. With a variety of technical issues against them, including broken shrouds and tears in jib sheets, the team won one race and narrowly lost the other due to two unfortunate DNFs. For a first outing as the Sailing Racing team, the members all did incredibly well and just missed out on the overall win by three points. Recognition should go to all the sailors; Seb (Lower Sixth, Vanbrugh), Ed (Lower Sixth, Gascoigne), Andrew (Fourth Form, Vanbrugh), Nico (Lower Sixth, Swift), Jack (Fifth Form, Gascoigne) and Dee (Upper Sixth, Gascoigne) who managed to work well within their boats and as a whole team, not hesitating to help one another and the other school when rigging and fixing boats.
