This term, the entire Second Form took to the stage in a series of physical theatre performances built around the hypothetical and thought-provoking question, ‘What if…?’. Following a term spent exploring the complex and often surreal demands of physical theatre, pupils collaborated to workshop a range of imaginative responses to this open-ended prompt.
Drawing on their creativity and strong sense of teamwork, they brought to life ideas such as ‘What if we aged backwards?’, ‘What if we all had superpowers?’, ‘What if we lived in a virtual world?’ and ‘What if we were all the same?’. Each piece showcased inventive storytelling through movement, expression and ensemble work.
The audience was treated to a vibrant spectacle of fast-paced and highly original sequences, highlighting the cohesion and creativity of this talented year group. It was an evening of highly entertaining scenes and accomplished theatrical skills, where pupils confidently pushed the boundaries of possibility and embraced the full potential of their imaginations.
