At the heart of our School’s dedication to nurturing a love for reading, First Form pupils have once again embraced the excitement of the Book Trust’s national Bookbuzz scheme – an initiative designed to ignite a passion for books in young readers. Before the half term break, our pupils had the thrilling opportunity to hear from the authors behind this year’s collection of thirteen captivating titles. They explored these books firsthand, eagerly flipping through the pages before making their choice of the one they wanted to take home and treasure.
Then the moment they had all been waiting for finally arrived. With their chosen titles in hand, pupils have been diving into their new stories during Library lessons, ready to embark on their next literary adventure!
