As the first half of term drew to a close, First Form pupils marked their successful transition into Senior School with a well-earned evening of celebration. The First Form disco was a lively and memorable event filled with music, laughter, and a strong sense of camaraderie.
The event was brilliantly supported by members of the Sixth Form, who took the lead in organising games and encouraging participation throughout the evening. The fantastic soundtrack for the disco had everyone on their feet, provided by the amazing Benjamin (Second Form, Feilden) aka DJ Benji. Pupils danced with friends old and new and embraced the evening with energy and enthusiasm.
It was a wonderful way to celebrate a positive beginning to their Senior School journey, and a reminder of how much they have already grown in confidence, connection, and school spirit. With the foundation now firmly in place, the rest of the year promises to be an exciting one for the First Form.
While the First Form pupils were dancing the night away at their disco, the CPFA were hosting a rather more refined, but equally enjoyable, event for new parents. The Cheese and Wine Evening offered a perfect opportunity for parents new to the Cokethorpe community to come together, relax, and begin building connections of their own.
