We are delighted to announce that Mrs Sarah Orton will become Head of Prep at Cokethorpe in January 2026, succeeding Mrs Nicky Black.
A respected member of Cokethorpe’s Senior Leadership Team, Sarah is a familiar and trusted face in our community, bringing a wealth of experience from her role as Director of Professional Development and previous leadership positions, including Housemistress of Queen Anne House. She knows Cokethorpe inside out – not only as a senior leader but also as a parent of three sons who have thrived here.
Working closely with Dr Sarah Squire and the Prep team, Sarah is perfectly placed to continue delivering the rich, holistic education that makes our Prep so special.
Sarah will collaborate with Nicky and the team over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth and positive transition.
