The highlight of the two-year Sixth Form journey is undoubtedly the Peacock Ball – an evening of fine food, great company, and heartfelt celebration. It is a chance to recognise individual achievements and to express gratitude to the parents, teachers, Housemasters, and friends who have supported the students along the way.
On a warm July evening, the Upper Sixth and their parents gathered in their finest tuxedos and elegant dresses to eat, dance, and laugh the night away. The Upper Sixth brought the house down with their renditions of Uptown Funk and Sweet Caroline and even convinced Mr Gale to lead a conga line to Wonderwall – perhaps the first, and quite possibly the only, conga line ever to that iconic Oasis ballad.
The night was a resounding success, leaving everyone smiling and full of joy – a truly wonderful way to end the year. We will dearly miss our Upper Sixth Leavers and wish them all the very best for their futures.
