The First Form embarked on a top-secret mission to Bletchley Park as part of the array of activities on offer to pupils during STEM Week. The First Form had the opportunity to explore this fascinating park which was home to the incredible World War II code breakers.
As part of this thought-provoking trip, pupils heard the stories of the brave and inspirational people who worked at Bletchley Park. They also got the opportunity to see an actual Enigma Machine and put their code-breaking skills to the test. First Form learnt more about how the code-breaking done at Bletchley Park helped plan the D-Day invasion and how significant the work done there was, to winning the war.
