Cokethorpe Camps

Will return again soon!

See below for what is on offer this Easter from Cokethorpe Camps.

Cokethorpe Camps offers an exciting range of activities for children who love adventures, team sports and having fun. The Camps programme has been extended this year to include the Easter holiday, from Monday, 30 March, to Friday, 10 April (excluding bank holidays).

Making full use of the beautiful 150-acre parkland grounds and facilities, we offer multi-activity sessions for three different age groups. Your child does not need to be a pupil at Cokethorpe to book onto any of our sessions.

The days all run from 8.30am to 5.30pm, with the core activities programme beginning at 9.00am and running to 4.30pm.

Full details of each session type are available below under ‘What to expect at Easter’, along with how to book.

If you have any questions about Cokethorpe Camps, please contact: camps@cokethorpe.org.

The School’s policies as relevant to the Camps will apply. The policies are available on the School website here. Our Booking Conditions information is available here.

What to expect at Easter

Multi-Activity Camp, Ages 5 to 7

Cokethorpe Camps for ages 5 to 7 focuses on delivering exciting, creative, and fun activity days for children of similar ages. Experienced and knowledgeable staff will deliver a range of activities across the school site, encompassing outdoor play, creative art, teamwork through sport, and discovery through outdoor learning.

This group will be based in the Pre-prep classrooms with direct access to the fields and woodland, as well as access to the sports hall, Astros, and theatre. The use of these excellent indoor spaces ensures that children can enjoy a variety of activities regardless of the weather.

A typical day could have children working together on puzzles in the classroom, creating art projects, exploring the woods, and playing team games in the sports hall.

Please note that 7-year-olds can choose to either join the 5 to 7 or 7 to 9 age groups. This selection needs to be completed on sign-up as space will likely be limited on the day. Please feel free to contact camps@cokethorpe.org for further information.

A typical day could see children playing ball games on the fields, participating in team-building challenges in the sports hall, capture the flag around the school grounds, and engaging in woodland activities. Some activities can be chosen by the children, such as a dance challenge in the theatre or indoor games in the sports hall. We also offer creative workshops in the art rooms, such as painting or crafting projects. Our excellent indoor facilities ensure that a range of activities can be enjoyed regardless of the weather.
